labor day weekend

Tuesday feels like Monday today.  :)
It was a fun weekend!  Here's the lowdown recap on our adventures.

Friday night - went for a motorcycle ride to Powder Keg HD and saw Stagger Lee perform, met up with Big Matt and Rachel and some of their friends, beautiful evening!

Saturday - got up early, went to Yellow Springs Farmers Market, had the worst dill pickles sample in the world (I felt sorry for the guy, he looked so hopeful that we would buy some, but they were terrible), some blah-salsa (very garden fresh tasting, but more like bruschetta instead of salsa), and some very dry granola (OK if you were expecting to chew on bark and pinecones), 18 mile bike ride, Young's Jersey Dairy Farm, Lemon Sorbet, 100 degrees day, smoothies at the Main Squeeze, mowed the grass, harvested my crop (of 16 Baby Boo pumpkins, all from one plant!), cleaned/protected the hot tub lid, laundry, grocery store, and asleep by 9pm!

Sunday - rain, 50 minute walk at the Dayton Mall, Applebees w/my man, Horrible Bosses at the dollar theater (hilarious movie), bbq chicken and sweet corn on the grill

Monday - laundry, 58 minute bike ride, bbq and coleslaw and in-laws, helped with closing their pool, 69 degrees (from 100 on Saturday to 69 on Monday - GEESH!), Jordan home from her dad's, planning in earnest for vacation (in 3 days!)

*Baby Boo Pumpkins - at least I think that's what they are called, they look very similar to the pictures I saw on the internet, I didn't plant the seeds, they just came up all by themselves near the compost (I think from the little pumpkins I had put in the compost last year after Halloween)

*Stagger Lee - awesome local band
All in all - great weekend!!
