My New Love:
Oh, Tomato Bisque, how I love thee? Let me count the ways!
OK - I have fallen head over heels in love with tomato bisque. Liz Timm at the Vineyard Cafe makes a mean bisque. It is rich and dilly and has little bits of chopped onion, yummmmmm.
The only problem is having to wait until it cools down enough to eat.
I need to find a recipe!
Cumberland Falls and Big South Fork:
Paul (my wonderful other half) and I headed down to Corbin, KY and stayed at the KOA there this past weekend. We hiked 6 1/2 hard and hilly miles at Cumberland Falls to Dog Slaughter Falls on Saturday.
On Sunday, we hiked an easier 6 1/2 miles at Blue Heron, Devils Jump, and Angel Falls.
** see how I'm getting all fancy using the links. :)
I'm uploading all of our pictures from this past weekend to the Shutterfly website - http://www.kimsfavoritepictures.shutterfly.com/, so check them out.
We stayed in the Kamping Kabin - just a sparse one-room kind of place with a bunk bed and a double bed - vinyl mattress (bring your sleeping bag), overhead light, and the best part of all - a heater and an a/c unit! Plus, there's a picnic table and fire ring outside. So, you can take a hot shower at the bathhouse, sit around the campfire, eat at a picnic table, and sleep all nice and warm all night. And, they are relatively inexpensive.
More updates to follow...

Love the pictures, and your fancy-pants links. ;-) But I only saw you in about 2 of them, lots of Paul. Kim? Not so much! Looks beautiful, and I bet Bonnie and Ike had a good time too.
