Ongoing Love
Over time, always beginning, to never end,
The Perfect One does define, again and again.
Through love, with life, in one act, a moment to share,
In remembrance, is One Spirit there, ev'rywhere.
And with Creation, whence image and likeness came,
When one life is given, that all life, would remain.
An only child was given, that all children may live.
The lamb is sacrificed that the flock may prosper.
Only after the flower dies, will another bloom again.
A Child is born.........He gave His only Son...............

I'm back
Wow, it's been over a month since I've last posted anything. Did you miss me? :)
It's been a busy month and I have had snippets of time when I could have blogged about something, but not enough time to think about it and actually blog something more than a 140 characters.
So here's a rundown on what I've been doing over the past month or so:
I've been baking a lot - I love this time of year - gingerbread cookies (those are tonight's project), Mexican Wedding Cookies, Peanut Brittle, Fudge, Baklava, Peanut Butter Cookie Kisses, a homemade apple strudel for Thanksgiving breakfast (yes, it has been a long time since I've written), homemade caramel popcorn with chocolate and marshmallows, and the list goes on.
Our fish has come down with a case of Fin Rot, not very pretty. He's been on antibiotics since Saturday and this morning was starting to perk up a bit, actually swimming around a little and eating (which is a good sign). We've had little Fish-Fish for about 4 or 5 years now, so we've gotten quite attached to him. I did not have a heater in his tank and I think the water temperature got too low for him, which induced the Fin Rot. Poor little guy.
Jordan's been doing great in school - lots of projects, dressing up as an explorer, a Trade Fair, looking forward to Christmas (she wants a cell phone), and her new stepsister spent the night at our house this past Sunday. Jordan's come down with a bad cough and will most likely be going to the doctor next week, unless it clears up considerably.
The Rowland Family Christmas was last Saturday - lots of food, mostly good, some unique things, and of course baklava (courtesy of me). :)
We've had snow on the ground for 2 weeks now (it seems like), but today is supposed to be 34.
What else? Oh, I'm making Tuna Melts for dinner tonight. Yum! Tuna, hard-boiled eggs, onion, mayo, etc on a bun with cheese, wrapped in foil and heated until cheese melts.
OK, so that does it for my lunchtime blogging. At least I got something posted. I may even try to post some pictures tomorrow. Peace out.
